Tutoring
In the original grant proposal, Spreading Childcare planned to operate at least 80 days during the school year and at least 24 days during the summer through 3 program site(s). It also aimed to serve a minimum of 30 youth daily during the school year and 45 youth daily in the summer.
By the end of summer 2025, the program had been open for 122 days and delivered 30 weeks of programming. From November 2024 through the end of August 2025, the program met its service goal 111% of the time. This goal was calculated by determining the proportion of days each program site reached its proposed youth attendance relative to its required minimum operation days. If a grantee has more than one site, the result will be an average across all sites. The table below summarizes our operation goal and actual service provision. Appendix B illustrates the details of our operation schedule by program site.
